Sandrine Klein - Founder of La Baba School

Sandrine Klein is the visionary behind La Baba School, an innovative urban nature micro-school in Los Angeles, California. Originally from France, Sandrine spent seven formative years in Mexico, where she opened her first school, Mi Escuelita, after being mentored by the Alliance Française. This experience sparked her passion for multicultural education, laying the foundation for her future work.
Fully trilingual in French, English, and Spanish, Sandrine brings extensive international teaching experience and a deep commitment to nurturing children’s curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for diverse cultures.
With a passion for teaching through art and hands-on activities, she believes experiential learning provides children with a holistic understanding, allowing them to connect deeply with each subject. At La Baba School, Sandrine offers immersive French language programs that blend storytelling, art, cooking, and cultural traditions, cultivating fluency and a love for French culture.
Her mission is to inspire children and families to embrace lifelong learning and foster respect for our world and its many cultures.
